What did you do to your deuce this week?

Now you did it. Now I can't even remember if the multi fuel engine has solid or hydraulic lifters/tappets. Looked it up for seven minutes and those threads went to everywhere but the answer. Probably time for a nap.

    breaking free stuck lug nuts

I wrote a nice story with my concerns but the computer ate it. I will just put pictures for the General. Yes I did use a torque wrench to reland them. To get them off I used 10 feet of heavy wall pipe on my Ken Tool. And all my tools go on an auction site on Friday for sale.

Transmission to Transfer Case Driveshaft, how to grease?

Another old thread needing information, [1969 Kaiser Jeep Deuce M35A2 W/W] Yes, this is a five ton thread but I thought this applicable, Not sure, I was wrong on a Tuesday one time. I am a shifting fool and the transfer case shift lever was vibrating, didn't feel right. Saw an interesting post...

    M35a2 oils

Old thread update. I am a shifting fool. I like keeping engine at the torque peak and shifting around and not lugging my engine. When I got the Deuce it was difficult to shift it as it is supposed to be done. I researched SS and found she probably had some "not as good as could be" lubrication...

Some people are lucky to be able to "send stuff out". I must do everything myself, which is why I appreciated the lesson. Anyhow that 50 bucks is 2.2 18 packs of beer. I have priorities list and you have yours.

Found out torque wrench is not accurate *after* rear main seal job

Many times I have seen torque wrenches used to "loosen" fasteners in the process of going around all the fasteners in the process of re-torque to specs. For instance three stages with a back off session in the sequence. Unless specifically designed to go both ways the torque wrench will be...

    Steering gear bushings

Looks like rustystud is fixing things which can not be bought. The trucks have steered for long long time GI. They get worn and old and sloppy, built by humans and have some attributes of the humans. [old sloppy, worn out]. Rustystud is showing how to renew a steering box concerning the part...

The Centipede aka my new 1988 m35a2c

I am happy to see that you did read my stuff. I was always alone and needed a "helping hand" and those Irwin clamps saved me a lot of frustr%$#@@$#####ation! Just a note but don't let any grease get on those boots. Grease destroys boots. I can't find any made of leather like they should be...
