so that leaves what for max gross combined weight? 80k is the limit on class 8's but how about the 818 max combined weight?

but on a different note I put over 15k miles per year per MV. thats a lotta fuel and miles. I really cant save up as I'm always spending $ to go places.

ya. some stuff. I didnt use the center dash piece that comes in the kit bc it deletes the air vent on drivers side and doesnt have the holes for the radio rack. I put a notch in the original one and all is well.
I didnt drill another hole in the firewall...
I'd love to make it but 80miles is a bit of a hike. it's at least 100 miles from my location and getting 5mpg and about $4.50/gal thats a pricy trip. I may just meet you guys at the Museum.
yes you can. look at the data plate for the accepted speeds and go for it. if it doesnt shift correctly then you have some work to do.

just cause it doesnt smoke doesnt mean it's starved for fuel.
The trucks in STOCK form dont smoke much if any. turned up then yes they do.
What do your fuel filters look like?
is your intake pump woking?
I can pick up the tongue on the dolley I have so it cant weight more than 2-300 lbs. it has to have that kinda weight or it would swap badly behind my trucks and it tracks well.

in this case I have a legal 270A1 and I can use the tag and insurance on the tractor covers anything I pull.
heck if it bothers you that much I'll just stack the 270 on my 270 and be done with it.
