I'm talking about the support bushing out on the stub end. there is no way 90wt can get to it. it's on the wrong side of the seal. basically the bushing thats inside the stub where the inner wheel bearing rides.
prob want to put this in the sticky in the hmmwv and Cucv threads but you can get them from about any parts store. I called Napa, Autozone, Advance, and orielly. they could all get it.
Dorman 904-101
it was $9.52
This is the kit that will get you all the little rubber flex lines that go...
I dont think it is the same. but for the hmmwv I simply found a 24V switched source (The mil used the fuel gauge for it.)
Then you use the IGN trigger thats on the generator. you run it in line with the IGN wire on the generator.
I wouldn't sweat it. I've had my trucks for about 5 yrs now and never mounted a plate to any of them. keep um in the glove box and if you get asked for it simply pull it out.
if your asked why it's not mounted tell them kids in your area keep stealing it. It's worked for me for 5 yrs...
for those that dont know tachs dont normally come in the hmmwv and they are hard as heck to find and very pricey when you do.
I was fortunate enough to find one on epay for a hefty price. Install wasn't bad.
drill 4 hole in the front windshield frame. Install new center dash cover and wire...
RE: Quick question! Inside knuckles - snot/grease-packed or
it needs the grease. the kingpins bushings and the axleshaft bushing need the grease even if the u joint does not.
I've considered doing without it(bc a lot of rockcrawlers do it) but I don't suggest for the above reasons.
It will...
I'll have to ride over and fill them in. wow so close and so uneducated. you'd think they would lift the hood and read on the side where is says cummins.
I know what your talking about but I dont think the pump mount filters are the same size as what we have now and it would certainly be a lot harder to change IMO. I know on my truck it takes me about 2-3 min to swap fuel filters.

your not really going to hurt anything other than maybe soaking the shoes with gear oil.
I know ppl who have driven for thousands of miles before fixing the leak. not a problem.
RE: TB
thats so much. any info will help. The problem I have now is how to mount the plate that holds the fuel pump and the sheetmetal piece that goes under it. it looks like it extends under the batteries but I'm not sure.
I asked this same question when I got my 809.
I remember it being something about letting the trucks into the system before they were fully tested and approved.
RE: M818
any chance you can get some pics of the heater setup for me. how and where the pump is mounted and such? I have this kit for a deuce that I'm going to install and any and all info will help.
