I have several pics of it installed in both my trucks. these things help the trucks stiffen up even if you dont have the ring. 100 rivets goes a long way. also dont forget the plate that goes on the top of the back of the cab where the old hard top used to go. you should have both of them.

the mil never had this problem bc they didnt sit for months on end without use. now these ppl use them 3 times a year for parades and things just dont work the way they should. get um out and drive um...

I can drag it home for you with my 5T for a price if you dont think your deuce is up for it. I dont think i'd try it with my deuce.

I was just at brag today picking up a deuce. wish I had known.

ya. prob half the trucks out there that have them didnt come with um. not hard at all. a little searching will net you 3-4 in the last 4 weeks.

od iron has some of them. all the other suppliers have the rest of it.

the 5T setup has it's problems too. the air valves tend to stick and not work when the trucks sit for long preiods of time. usually R&R with a good cleaning fixes that.

RE: Title Bonding you dont need a title in GA either. only a bill of sale and your good to go. I like having the 97's but it's not needed.

the gen belt looks like a supercharger belt for a 471 or 671 GM blower. very cool and large. should never be an issue.

RE: Temporary fix for air pack problem so I guessing that all of us 5T owners should also be adding air tool oil to the 5T airpack as well? seeing as how its more or less the same system, just larger?

now you have a knuckle buster tranny. very nice. If it were mine I'd make that thing about 2ft shorter.

did you bench bleed the MC? I have an 816 here thats giving fits on the brakes.

GL1 and MT1. but I forget who is was on here that talked with a spicer rep and he said they recommend 50wt. but bc the mil wanted standardized fluids they just put 80-90 in it. I wonder what it would act like with 50wt?

most all the nuts that were on my donor truck were mechanical self locking.

very nice. mine should be coming home this week.
