    GMA Covers

Rich Greene used to sell them, but, with his passing, that won't help you much. The point, I suppose, is that they are available if he had them. I believe he mentioned something to me once that he requested that the manufacturer make them in green. One could contact GMA to see if they could...

    WTB: Fuel burning heater

I have an M35A2 that is missing the fuel burning heater that mounts under the hood. Everything else is there. Does anyone have a lead on one? RAM/ACE?

    Container Chassis at Suny Point

David, I believe Suny Point is in NC, right? If so, contact John Winslow. I bet he'd store them for you until you return. Be safe!

Two more deuces home from Chambersburg

The way the trailers bounce, I am SHOCKED that you did not lose the trailer. Fortunately, it looks like the chains were hooked up.

Flip the tire with overspray to one of the inner duals...you'll never see it.

    M872 34 ton flatbed trailer

Jeff at Tactical Truck has an M915 that he wants to sell. I can't remember the price, but I remember it being very reasonable.

    Hemmets in Iraq

DANNYMOZ71, can you take some pics of the AC set up? I'd love to add AC to my HEMTT. Thanks for your service!

    towing a 5 ton

RWELKER: Get the truck towed. Even if you can make the deuce weigh as much as the 5 ton (which probably would mean you are overloading or at least reaching the limit of the rated weight carrying capacity of the deuce), you have to consider that the deuce's brakes, most importantly, are not...

    towing a 5 ton

For those who have never met Randy (EMR), he is a really nice guy. He restored a first class deuce and was using it a few years ago to pull trucks out of the mud at Churchville (Aberdeen show). Welcome, Randy.

'Bout time for some photos of my fleet!

Thanks for giving out your bidder #. Anyone who bid on those trucks now knows who won what.

    towing a 5 ton

I am not sure, but I've had the same problem when I tried towing an M109A3 with an M35A2. However, I've heard from many people that they have successfully towed M35s with M35s. I will add that it should track fine with very gradual curves such as those found on a highway. They don't like 90...

M47 Patton Tank wreck...photo link inside

Maybe Joe Trapp can park it in the tranvestite's yard!

    How much for an m105

I just towed an M105 with an M1028 and it towed perfectly. Since the M1028 sits higher than an M1009, the trailer was actually fairly level. I figured it would have squated down more in front than it did.

    towing a 5 ton

Get it trucked. It is not advisable to flat tow a heavier vehicle with a lighter vehicle. I have no idea where Gratz, PA is, but I am assuming you are not far from the GL site. If that is so, get it trucked. It can't cost you much money. Better safe...than sorry! For you, trucking should...

M.A.N truck parts needed for restoration

Sarge: Stop by anytime and put the HEMTT through its paces. I would love to hear, first hand, about the truck and its nuiances. To be truthful, I hope never to sell the truck, but I do have a guy (actually owns a company that does work for the military) who is after it...hard core! I would...

VIN # location on M939 series trucks

Thanks, JONES. I'll have him look. I have a few M939 series trucks at home I could look at, but I'm at work. Thanks, again.

    XM818

The problem with the M172s/M172A1s is that they are overwidth. I've owned one in the past and they are good trailers, though. Looks like that trailer might need a deck...which is not too expensive, but is a lot of work. The trailer does have all of the wheel well covers and the ramps, which...

VIN # location on M939 series trucks

Hi, I have a friend who is trying to get his M929 dump inspected in the State of Massachusetts. The DMV cop doing the inspecting insists that he cannot rely on any VIN # that can be removed (i.e., the VIN # data plate). Is the VIN # located elsewhere on the truck, for example on the left...

M.A.N truck parts needed for restoration

By the way, I am not saying you own a MAN. I was pointing out why I am partial towards the HEMTT...because I own one!

M.A.N truck parts needed for restoration

Sarge: I wonder why you say that the MAN truck can go where a HEMTT fears to tread? I've never driven a MAN, but I have put quite a few miles on a HEMTT...although almost all of them have been on roads. I have spoken to guys in the military and everyone of them can't say enough good things...
