RE: Demil B & Q About To Be Shut Down?
Worse than shutting this down...would they want back what we already have...??? That would suck big time when you consider how much $$$ we all put into our trucks.
There was one for sale over in the UK a year or so ago. I believe I found it on this site...http://www.milweb.net/...for those that have not been there before. I can't remember the price and I think it was one of the earliest HETs.
I've had a 5 ton with a sprag that worked in reverse, but not in a forward gear. Ended up having to replace the sprag... Winslow tells me that, in his experience, one out of four 5 tons has a bad sprag.
We might be talking about two different kinds of exhaust fans. I've owned an M109A3 and an M185A2 and both had a small exhaust fan on the top left corner of the van body...or, as you exit the van body, they were up to the right on the inside near the ceiling. Perhaps, this is not the exhaust...
RE: This was 17,000
I've spoken to John Winslow, who sells trucks to loggers. They won't touch any deuce tractors because they just can't handle the loads. A deuce seems like a stout truck...and it is to a degree...but it is really not THAT big of a truck. It seems that way because most of...
Lane, you need the exhaust fan from an M109A3? Contact Winslow in NC...he has residue shop vans and I am almost positive I saw the small exhaust fan in one of them.
Bjorn, yeah, that is the same switch that is in my cab, although there is no guarantee that mine works. I believe that the fuel pump is there, although I have not looked for it yet. Thanks for the response.
Hello, I am looking to purchase the soft top framework assembly for an M35A2. I would prefer NOS or nice condition hardware (the rubber is not important as I can easily replace that, but I really don't want a lot of rust). Please let me know if you have something, or if you know where I can...
BJORN: Thanks for the offer. I'll let you know if I am able to acquire one.
Jon: To be honest, I am not sure what the correct fuel burning heater for this truck is. I just know the truck had one on it...and it was robbed off of it before it was turned in.
Thanks for the replies, guys!
For some reason, some of the trucks that have come out recently were released with the explicit notification that they were to be scrapped completely. I believe most came out of Louisiana, but some came out elsewhere (e.g., PA), too. I am not sure why these were released this way since the...
