Comdiver, where did you find the info on the harbor freight cylinder? I was going to go that way (figured it was cheap enough to just try it) but the only info that I could find, just the user manual, said to only use in vertical position. I'm guessing thats in there just to cover their butts. I...
Now go to harbor freight and get one of those air operated cylinders and run it off the glad hand on the back of the truck and take all the manual labor out of loading stuff. :-D
Just a note, you dont want to run pinion brakes on the street. If you happen to break an axle shaft while out playing in the rocks you wont have brakes on that axle when you drive it home.
Edit: unless your running a locker in that same axle
That right there should be on a data plate rivited to the dash next to the 3lever.
When I was in the AF I drove a deuce and after the first time I knew the shift pattern and never forgot it, but that damn switch got me every time.
Dont leave them in the bags at the hotel. Never, never, never trust someone you dont know to take care of stuff like that. Ive known people who got their bags rifled through and "they" (the damn hotel cleaning crew) tried to put them back like they were untouched.
If your buddy is a cop...
CC equipment has done this already but f you can creat some competition and bring the prices down you may have something. Just dont buy up all the hemmt wheels and cut them up.
Put "M818 24volt to 12volt trailer lights" in the search bar.
I dont know how to post links but this thread has a nice write up on how to build an adapter so you can use both mil. and civy trailers.
I know its for an M818 but you could build something similar for the deuce.
The guys from OK are a good bunch. They helped me recover my M818 from Norman. Send a message to StreetBikeDepot I know he's going to recover a deuce from Tx soon. Just dont ask him about selling it, its already mine (I hope) unless he finds it just too nice of a truck to trade off.
Pics of the near perfect 105 please. :-D Im near Ft riley and would like to see which one you got. Ive seen some very nice and some not so nice 105's there lately.
See if you can find out who is attatched to the new e-mail account, call the cc company and let them know someone was attempting to steal that card # and go from there.
Ok so cutting off the end of a bobbed truck is not much to get concerned about, but what if a guy (me) wanted to section and lengthen the frame. What would be the best way to join the two pieces back together? I thought it could be welded back together with the new section inbetween but after...
Is it disabled over a certain speed? Looks like a wreck waiting to happen with an inexperienced driver at anything over 25mph. Dont get me wrong it looks like fun and would be very useful on tight trails but no use on the street.
Im sorry and maybe this is rude or un-called for but this is only his (zhongguoren) second post, but I remember his first post was asking about how a M66 worked. We send enough to china I dont think we need to be sending TM's on our military equipment to them. If he cant find it on his own using...
Im in St George Ks. Its about 10-15 miles north of I-70. About 30 min east of Ft Riley. The crate is pretty small (still needs a small truck, SUV/station wagon or trailer) its about 3'long by 2'deep by 2'-3' tall
 Man, I need to sell something so I can get some of those tires for my M818. What was shipping on those tires?
