To perform a full set of preventative and predictive maintenance on one of these 20+ year old trucks is weeks of work. Shop labor rates are rarely under $100/hr. I would suggest that if you are not a fairly competent mechanic/electric tech, the FMTVs are not a good choice.
Berend if you don’t have a use for the antenna mount on the cab, I have been searching for that for years now. Just the part that slides up and out. It’s missing on my 1081.
The door latch looks like there is a blank for a key lock. I would guess the latch is a civilian item that Oshkosh sourced from a supplier to the automotive market. Odds are the latch is available with a key.
