I have only seen two for sale on this side of the Atlantic, both were in Canada, and both were expensive The last one had a starting bid of $14k with reserve not met and really wasn't particularly nice. It was LHD though. Didn't sell on that auction, no bids. But from the link you sent, a...

Who has Military Motorcycles Sign IN

Okay Dan, guide me here, I am a tech-tard. Do you have to be a yahoo member (whatever that is) to sign up or?? There is no explanation on the site. Ahhhhh... and this post gets me away from having 666, I was becoming uncomfortable sitting there for so long! :-D Cheers

Ouch!! Sorry that happened, and your truck is so nice! I was embarrassed to have mine next to it last weekend.. Cheers

    LAV-150 Gwinnett Sheriff SWAT

And very polite and pleasant kids they are too! Nice to meet kids like that these days. May I suggest that we now leave the debate about whether or not police should have these vehicles? That topic has been beaten to death in other threads, this one is about the vehicle rebuild, not the...

    Leander Texas BBQ cookoff

And ate like pigs! I nominate my truck as the ugliest M185 around. I'm on a roll, I think my 1009 is the ugliest too, certainly in our group since Pinky isn't pink anymore. But all that shall change! As a 'first timer' staying in the back of a box truck, it was positively...

    New V-100

I guess I was writing my last post at the same time as B3, so it seems kinda out of sequence! Yes, I have the NOS front panel, and it came from him. I can model the rest of them off that one. Some of this stuff is hard to figure out when you are going by photographs of other V's and drawings...

    New V-100

Due to getting other vehicles ready for some local MVPA events, family/home stuff, and work (that one really cuts into my MV time!), no progress this week. I haven't taken the time to call the panel folks yet, but looked at their website, cool stuff. I do despair at times about ever...

Need info about V100 wheels. HELP!

Whats the word, can you do the 9 1/2" backspacing? I just got my set of spare rims for the V100 out to get them powdercoated, and while cleaning them up found that they are actually 21x10's! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!!! Now I need another set of rims... Cheers

    New V-100

Maybe plywood is the wrong choice of words. It is some high grade wood panel that Earl picked, seems tough but not particularly heavy, certainly much lighter than regular old plywood. He used it on his V100 and it looked pretty nice. He had a smooth finish on the outside and heat shields on...

    New V-100

A while back I mentioned leaving traces of the damage from my V's time as a target. I finally remembered to take a picture of this bit. It is in the right rear wheel well, where a cannon round went through the hull. All traces inside were ground down smooth and are no longer visible, but the...

    BTR-40 questions

    V-150 pics

The V100/150's are all swimmers. That capability was lost with the M1117 though. I'd love to swim one, but I won't be swimming my own. Visions of recovery barges and expensive noises come to mind when I contemplate it, and I am just not brave enough! Cheers

    Bedford MJ

Is that not normal? I ask because US trucks tend to bleed off pressure quite quickly after shutting down. On my M185 and 5-ton, the air buzzer comes on while starting after they have been turned off for a couple of hours. There is never a problem with them maintaining pressure while running...

I checked out your pictures, pretty big project, looking forward to seeing the progress. Cheers

    New V-100

Excellent pictures Brian, thanks for posting them. That desert V150 seems to be re-e-e-ally low in the water! Must have all its gear and/or ammo on board. I don't see any water coming out of the bilge vents of either one though, so they must seal up pretty well. Cheers

    New V-100

Is that the one where they drive the V off the boat ramp at 40+mph? If so, yes I have seen it, some really super footage. If not, I want to! Bet others would too. :-D Cheers
