1. It doesn't matter if FDC is bypassed or not to use fuel that is not 100% diesel fuel. I see that even if they are not bypassed they probably do not function as per design. See Rustystud research.
The multi fuel runs on 100% new motor oil just fine, or many different versions of burnable...
This is not the BTU numbers you seek but good information.

Me thinks there is only this one way to protect the HH and internals of it
Clean the tank always and never let anything above 3 micron absolute leave the tank

Little items like all the oil drains into the crankcase
after shutdown of engine. that way it might even start next time.
So then it takes only 115 seconds or so after engine is running
to get any lube oil up to the turbocharger bearings...

The new diesel is crap and it will harm your multi fuel at 100%.

When I attach the .pdf files to my stuff it always shows up as a big black box to me but others say they can see and read it, I duuno ...........
but OP noted this is about multi-fuel old engines. All those 2400 new truck engines better be able to run perfect on the new mandated fuel as they are mandated engines controls and design. OK back to the old engines.
