are there any differences?
what are the rated power differences between the 6.2 and 6.5 non turbo?
is there any difference between the 6.5 turbo and non turbo motors? other than IP setting change?
I just purchased a M998 and it's got a bad motor. will the 6.5 fit in place of the 6.2 or does it not make a big differance.
I know the later trucks had 6.5 turbo's but I was hoping to fix it on the cheap for now and upgrade to big duramax power down the road.
are all the brackets...
my neighbors tried this on me. they lost. most likely they are trying to call them commercial vehicles and they are not. thats what they tried with me.
very cool. thanks for the advise and yes if you can get a pic of it that would help me greatly.
it looks to be the very same light/switch thats in the hummers. and pretty easy to get.
I'm not talking about the low air warning light or the tail light stop switch.
I mean the brake light you have between your speedo and tach; how is it wired?
isnt this thing for the parking brake?
RE: Re: RE: steering knuckle grease
that bushing id the only reason. now remember that when the grease gets warm it will begin to flow more like a fluid than the solid goop it is a room temp. other than that, no there is no reason to put grease in the knuckle. and I've been told by several...
can somebody figure out and let me know how the brake light works. ie where the switch is mounted that turns it on and off? I've been wanting to add this to my trucks after smoking a few parking brake shoes.
RE: Hauling Heavy
I have to change the fuel filter on my duramax about every 10k. but also have a uploader on with with a 120+hp program. It's amazing what that thing can do.
I get a bulb check when I turn the power on. if it burns out while I'm driving AND I dont see the air press gauge then I will be using the massive leg to stop this beast. I regularly move my deuce around on low or no air and stopping isnt an issue. so I'm wondering exactly how much this...
I pulled my buzzers too. I hate that sound and as dave says you cant hear anything under the hood that might be going wrong during initial startup. I have installed the red low air waring light in my dash of both my trucks. you can see that thing in the other lane. nice feature.
I'm not going into the motor everything I'm going to do will be external and yes I do all my own work as I guess most on here do.
as I did with the deuce I'm prob going to use water injection to keep the IAT's down and thus egt's. I'm not going to try and make a 250 into a 400. more like a...
I like the idea of going with a big cam III and have access to one that just been rebuilt. but the cost of a motor like that can quickly exceed the price of the truck which doesn't take much since. so I have rethought my plan and am going to modify the 250 till it blows it's top. if at that...
RE: Re: RE: Re: What is the going rate for super singles?
I may be coming into a stash of 5T combat wheels very soon. if I do they will be for sale here first.
