I will be needing to move it but only if I can get it more south or east. that way it saves me money in shipping. if it moves further away from me then it just costs me more money. I very much appreciate the offers so hopefully somebody can help. I believe it it about 1.5' over width.
I have the turbo and exhaust from a 400 that I will be using. they seem to fit very good with little mods. I will not be using the 400 intake as it points up at the hood. there is not much of a reason to use it either the 250 should work just fine.
Well I just did something I shouldn't have. Called the owner this am and bought the truck. So I saved this one. Now I just gotta find the $$$ for it and find a way to get it home. only 1750 miles.
yes. the almighty foot has that power. otherwise you would be under the hood all the time adjusting the fuel at the IP. I guess I could do it with the screw adjuster in the cab of the truck under the pedal but as long as you keep as eye on the egt's your fine.
When my water inj is on I run it all the time when pulling a trailer. I ran run it for 50-60 miles at a time without issue and I've got about 10k miles on the setup so far. I doubt many owners here will ever see that many miles on their truck the entire time they own them.
as you prob know...
no need for an inter cooler. 1 simple water injection nozzle and the entire problem is fixed make it smart with a progressive controller and you have a awesome combo(this is what I have and sell for these trucks and it's how I can run high boost +20psi with low egt's(under1100deg)) inter...
I know SECO has the correct studs and nuts for all sizes of these wheels. I had to buy a few to repair some of mine. they aren't cheap or even close to cheap but if you want the right stuff they have it. I think they were about $20 each.
if you are seriously going to work them hard and drive 100 miles a day loaded I would shy away from the big tires. it's going to kill your top speed. the NHC250 just doesnt have the umph to push the truck loaded down the road at any speed. the stock tires will be much better for a truck that...
a said before it's not boost thats a problem it's egts. I run a about 20psi on my deuce but I do it with water injection. without water I can only get about 15-16psi before egts get too high.
remember the intake manifold in the multi is HEATED by coolant and there is no intercooler.. not...
too bad it looks like gomer pile took a knife to all my air lines and left me with nothing. I have to replace everything and try and see if the brakes want to work or not.
