RE: Re: RE: 2nd gear
there is a reason it's called 1st. use it first.
I noticed it took a little slip to start my deuce in second with stock size 900 tires but when I went to the 1100's it took a lot and was clearly bad for the clutch.
start in 1st and work your way up.
RE: Location for pyro
it too bad I got into this topic so late but I'll give you my results of water injection as I have this on my deuce.
Water injection works
methanol injection does not.
With methanol it instantly burns as soon as it gets into the motor. thus causing uncontrolled...
the only way I got that connector loose was to slice cut it and peal it back to open it up. you could do that and put a clamp back around it once you put it back together. also, make sure you put some screws or safety wire on the inlet screen so it cant fall off.
yup. I put my old dextron in my tank. but you need to be very picky when using it. it can have some very bad stuff in it for sure and some of it wont filter out. old clutch material can ear out an IP very quickly.
I paid a lot more for mine than whats being tossed around here but mine was more or less rebuilt front to back when I got it. so you get what you pay for.
I tried getting the plug outa mine once and with a 4ft bar it wouldnt move. I was afraid if it did I might rip the bottom of the tank off so I just quit.
ditto. this is a much better solution. Using the forward tandem to power the truck is a terrible idea. lots of wheel hop and makes turning harder. a hub disconnect on the forward tanem is the best option.
