    Hmmwv a-arm bolts.

Its clear you will will do whatever you want, that’s your prerogative. But based on your statement about your skills, then you would know that high stress and vibration components don’t and won’t use split washers. my suggestion is to use the TM 24p, it will show you every nut and bolt in the...

    Hmmwv a-arm bolts.

If the original you had was not a stover top lock, you had the wrong nut, the bolts are 3/4in coarse thread. Te entire truck uses no fasteners with lock washers for the most part...all are top lock.

    Hmmwv a-arm bolts.

There is no lock washer...I’ve installed many MM winch’s, you can use the old bolt and it works just fine. the nut is a Stover top lock. but it’s no problem to go with the correct 5in bolt

    Alternator question.

You did your customer a disservice and terrible down Grade. I’ve NEVER replaced a failed 200amp gen, just a bad regulator, that’s a 3min process. i just took no less then 5 60amp gens to scrap yard....they have served there usefulness.

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

Magnesium run flats? ummmm, not a good idea. There is a reason they aren’t using them anymore. think about what happens to magnesium once it catches fire. Also, the Magnesium RF is not authorized in the radial tire and rim setup, only the Hutchinson.

    My new 1992 M998 Avenger

You are correct, they are the same, but the thicker wheel just seems to give the impression of easier control ability then the old thin one.

    Planning on buying a M998

Or buy from someone so you have no waiting and can go test drive the truck....auction buying is not for everyone. 2 trucks in 2weeks in the shop from customers who paid 10k each....blown motors, and both were GEP. those trucks were ultimately purchased by me at less then half of what they paid...

    what does this switch do?

The majority of trucks I’ve had with that toggle have it powering IR lamps on the front of the truck.

can a 60 amp Alternator be swapped out with a 200 Amp Alternator without any mods?

Alternator should be out putting 27.5-28.5, your generator is dead, or at least you regulator died.

How about don’t use a credit card? If you do a wire transfer, the bank charges $35 for that too. And is the additional 3% fee going to make or break whether or not you bid and buy an item? Be nice if they took PayPal
