    This is very common, the rubber plug dries out....if the Tcase is out, pull the plug and fill the hole with some RTV and reinsert the plug.

    The pulley is rubber isolated...this is a wear item requiring replacement, same as a crank harmonic balancer. it is in no ones best interest to try and repair it...

    That play in your steering wheeel is your Pittman and idler arm...I wouldn’t drive it at all until that fixed. If your Pittman fails, your done for...I’ve seen these literally almost separated from the center link.

    I suggest you get mentally prepared to fork out a few dollars on this truck, or all of these trucks for that matter. you no start could be as simple as bad GP’s to a bad engine....but more commonly is a bad EESS, GP’s or a bad injector pump. Either way, it will take time...and time is money.

    its a simple aluminum pop rivet...3/16 and available at any hardware store, just make sure to use a backing plate on the rivet, you can buy those too or just use a 3/16 washer on each. I’ve Installed thousands of these.
