Assistance wanted diagnosing Deuce brake issue (s)

I guess you can ask a question but no one can ask one of you? I didn't give you crap about it or anything else for that matter I simply asked why do we need poll for a brake problem. Ever since I have been on this site we have tried to reserve the word help in thread titles to signify that...

12 Volt power source for 939 Trucks

Butch, I would do either, I'd just use the 24v-12v converter from Pyle. $30 plus some wire.

    Re-decking M871, what material?

Wrong, they cut up the petrified forest pieces don't they? ;-) At least on par with as bad as Drew's.

Assistance wanted diagnosing Deuce brake issue (s)

Fixed your title as we reserve help for roadside or emergency situations. Also, why do we need a poll for a simple request on a brake problem?

Conflicting information on using M1009 to pull M101A2 trailer

I could tow an M101A2 with a Chevy Tracker. It wouldn't be optimal but with a M1009 you will be just fine. We tow mine behind Chevy and Dodge pickups all the time.

    Re-decking M871, what material?

I would think if you could get treated yellow pine that would work. Don't use treated white pine. Yellow is dense and heavy and although it isn't a hardwood it is a good wood. Or just get white oak. :-)

Yes, change fuel and filters, primary and secondary and maybe put Seafoam in it. Then see how it does.

    stickies

Most of the stickies are the result of someone's work putting the stuff in one place. Mods are willing to do of the helping so the only critism that is being ignored is from the usual suspects. Also, a lot like life.

To change, or not to change? That is the question (fluids/filters)

That is hilarious. For 9 years now I have Walmart do my oil changes in 4 vehicles and only once had a problem and that was that they no longer carried the filter so now I just take my own in and they still do the change. One time I had a problem was when I took one of them somewhere else, you...

    Deuce Fan Belt replacement

Sitting? Maybe if you are a "little person". ;-) If I lay on my back it is just out of reach to use both hands so I have to roll up and use one hand. It's doable but it is certainly a pain in the arse to get to. The one I just did two weeks ago was a TM America bracket but it had new grade...
