RE: Re: RE: Newb with more GPR questions sorry
have you ohm'd out the glow plugs to see if they are actually getting warm? are you cycling the plugs 3 times before you try the start?
RE: This can
mine leaked the same way. turns out it was the coolant pipe thats right behind the oil filters. the hose had a pinhole in it. R&R and it's all better. get some spin on filters from jtonka and fix the oil leaks too.
any interstate battery dealer can get you the 6tls. I'm sure there is one close to you.
a deuce heater wlil fit. only the bracket that holds them to the frame is different and you can easily make those.
ya. none. when I got her loaded down it appears my pump was already maxed out. I pull 1200deg on long pulls when loaded. now if I were just bobtailing all th etime I could run more fuel but not when loaded.
I've now moved on to adding a turbo to get the power I need.
the assist is only that an assist. you still dont want to turn the wheels without moving. that being said you can easily turn the wheels while moving. I would spend the $ on another more useful accessory.
RE: Re: 10 bolt wheels
seco in augusta, ga has the nuts. I just had to buy some. they are the real deal part but they are about $10/nut. you could use grade 8 from the hardware store for about $1 each.
yes they will work just fine. thats the combo I have. you didnt mention what the price is but anything around 200/wheel is normal. if you need tires I have many 1600's I need to sell.
aeroquip, earls, russell, summitt, jegs, and holley, all make an fittings to include bulkhead fittings in all different sizes you cant find one of them that fits?
matches the weird tires. if you knew how much I open the front windows you woulnt make them unuseable. even in winter I need to crack them open to keep them defrosted. at least it has a awesome paint job in the pic.
Any good truck tire shop will work on them. there are still thousands of trucks running down the road with them. also look for the guys in the service trucks that change tires on the side of the road.
