    2014 Haspin parts/trade/sell/buy thread.

How big are the nets and cost. I guess that means you'll get to see the damage on my ATV you sold me. ;-)

No More Water Pump Leaks When Tightening The Fan Belts

I wasn't saying that was a moot point. The three of us agree that it is on the tension side of the belt. But I do want to see a launch.....

No More Water Pump Leaks When Tightening The Fan Belts

Actually I was thinking about that but I'm killing time while a 2 gigabyte virtual machine image uploads to one of virtual hosts so I can how it performs on analyzing our netflow data. Minute 30 to go.......... :-)

No More Water Pump Leaks When Tightening The Fan Belts

Moot point, all you have to do is look at the fan pulley which is amazingly enough attached to the fan. The new idle pulley is on the tension side of the belt.

No More Water Pump Leaks When Tightening The Fan Belts

Yeah, I forgot the crew I was dealing with. The end result is the same like we discussed, the new pulley is on the tension side of the belt. ;-)

No More Water Pump Leaks When Tightening The Fan Belts

That's the problem Bob, the engine does not drive that pulley.

No More Water Pump Leaks When Tightening The Fan Belts

After talking to Doghead on the phone just now I realize I was wrong. The belt in this case is not driven at the fan/engine side it is being driven by the left side of the picture. Doghead's annotated white drawing is correct. The new pulley is on the tension side. While still a good mod and...

No More Water Pump Leaks When Tightening The Fan Belts

You pull a belt, that's the tension side. The tension side is the bottom as the engine is pulling the belt. The idler is on the slack side. This looks to be a good mod.

READ before you pay sales tax out of state on vehicles

All too frequently we get members here posting that GL did this or that or didn't do this or that but when it comes to the details it is almost always the fault of the purchaser and not GL. Don't get your feelings hurt if someone points out to you that you should do your homework before the...

    Got 'er home!

The new price on a 11.00x20 G177 at a discount place is north of $600. I'm guessing the bigger tire might be more. There is a paint sticky in the paint and bodywork forum with the paint codes. Oh, and I would not just run a hose out so you don't here an air leak. Having driven those trucks...

    Air Force Yellow stencil color?

I think it's because most people would use the same vendor for all their paints. In this case you used one and now need the code for the same color and the other color.

    M816 Wrecker Won't Start

Just go to Harbor Freight and buy one of their battery load testers. I use mine all the time. Just hook it up to each batteries +- ONE at a time, no need to disconnect any cables. Voltage should be in the green the flip the switch left or right and hold for a few seconds or until the massive...

    FASS in a M923 with Cummins 250

Matt, So that means the switch doesn't have anything to do with the engine operation it just tells the FASS unit to power up when the oil pressure gets to a certain point? In that case I would do what you are doing and wire it to the switch. That also means that a lift pump and filters may...
