It is an Allison 3500SP push-button transmission. Looks new as it has no road dirt, grime or mud on it and just a little of the aluminium white surface corrosion (dust).
Slaved air off my 813 and got it up to about 65lbs. Brakes seem to function or at least I hear them when I hit the pedal...
Heck, have Sandy's towing bring it out to my house. I have the Hermann Munster mobile truck sitting here for Artillerydan. Sandy's is the local towing company I trust and they know this place. I'm about 13 miles from WPAFB.
Are you also planning on doing the deep water service every time you do it? Pulling the wheels, bearings and seals and repacking everything.
The battery box will be fine.
Before reading your last post my thought was that it is the 12v tap. Something energized even with the truck off. Disconnect it and let the charged up batteries sit overnight.

Eastern Surplus is a vendor here and has trucks closer than Hundy would have had anyway. Check the classifieds as there are a few in you area (within a couple states).
Funny thread. For anyone who has had a Deuce more than 15 minutes (and read a TM) you would recognize what it is immediately but like has been said, this is also the first time I have seen anyone post it about a 939.
