    Unplanned outage

For our "little" data center we have UPS', motor-generator and two big diesel generators sitting on pads outside. The diesels get tested once a month and we frequently (relative term) test when power gets re-wired. Even with all that we have still had power outages. If it is built by a human...

    2013 Haspin Discussion Thread

Are you pulling it as a power pack or separating and taking it out that way? Gimpy and I did the power pack removal. Faster but we put the engine back in by itself. Transmission install took longer than pulling and installing everything. Just not our day....

    Unplanned outage

Power outages happen all the time. Power outages inside an ISP's hosted data center do not. I would be very not happy.

Lower clearance with tire pressure? M35A2

You should be able to squeeze it down 4 inches and back or pull it in.

Lower clearance with tire pressure? M35A2

Half inch? Maybe with a destroyed tire but you will never get it that low and still have a good tire.

For those who have not been to any function with Ferro I'm sure something will be done. Today he worked on his M37 and got it running at Zout's cookout. Last fall he move a wrecker bed on another truck at the fall rally.

Actually I just posted that I had never heard of anyone having one go bad. Seems like you are the first and from Ohio at that. Good luck.

I need help where's our wrench men at? Allison Repair

I think before I would run the risk of ruining the tail end of my transmission I would read the manual.

whats the best brand of fuel and oil filter for a lds?

At the end of the day almost any new filter is going to be better than leaving the old ones in. But the Deuce and 5-ton parts list has the numbers.

    May have blown it up....???

Just off hand is that the overheating problem warped a head causing the failure of a head gasket. It went downhill from there. :-) But that is a guess.

Allison Trans on the 900 series.. and general 800 vs 900 series preferences..

I don't think I have ever heard of anyone losing an Allison out of a 939 series truck. 809 series transmission yes, 939 no. Allison has a reputation for building bullet-resistant transmissions for as long as I can remember. (Bullet-proof would imply you just need a bigger bullet.)
