Like DOC said, Yes and no. It will bolt right in but you're going to have problems when you go to shut the hood. There should be a way around this but it's going to take some mods. You could go with an intercooler mod as shown in another thread. That would help because you can run the turbo pipe...
I tend to say all of the above except maybe brake harware. Any system is only as good as it's weakest link and on the deuce if anything goes you've got problems.
Brake harware doesn't seem to cause many problems though. If a spring breaks more than likely the brake will drag or lock up which...
I'm confused. Your profile says you joined in Jan 2009.
I'm not calling you out or anything. I'm just wondering why the dates don't match. Did you used to have another username?
Makes you wonder why nobody has been able to make anything stick yet?
I tend to think either nobody is pressing the matter enough or the authorities really don't care.
Am I the only one that noticed the cranes?
You guys are like the kind of people that notice the vehicle the girl in the swimsuit is standing beside. :-D
Well 5K is alot more than 1K. That would more than likely be more than I would pay. I'm cheap though and I don't have 5K in my pocket . If you sell me a truck, more than likely you sold it too cheap :-D.
:ditto:
If Red wants the truck he better go buy it tomorrow. That thing is way below market value. When they told me $1,000 I would have said "sold" right then and there before they had time to change their mind but I do have $1,000 burning a hole in my pocket .
Like everybody else has said, just read the TMs and jump in. The TM will give step by step instructions and if you run into a problem you can post it here and we will guide you through it. I have found out that when I let a shop work on any vehicle I pay twice as much and it doesn't get fixed to...
I bought a M1008 out of FL and it had rust but not in the usual places. The only rust on it was around the windshield and cab top. Kind of like your truck from HI. Most trucks around here rust on the bottom. Must have something to do with the salt in the air near oceans.
Go here Steel Soldiers :: Military Vehicles Supersite to get to the old site. There is also a link at the top left corner of the page to get you there also. Sorry to hear about your problem over the last year but it sounds like you're on the mend.
I did s search on Google and couldn't come up with the accual law but if you Google "collusion law" you will get alot of reading. I do know of people being covicted of this. Anything that could be seen as bringing the price down on an item is "techically" cosidered collusion.
While I don't...
More than likely something was posted that broke the rules. Seems most of the threads in the "politics related to the MV hobby" end up going this way.
A mod should speak up and give you a reason though.
While I don't normally carry my computer with me I do have a list of several SS members phone numbers in my wallet. I figure I could get ahold of atleast one of them and they would access to the internet.
I'm all for this but we need to make sure it doesn't get abused. If the alert starts...
Looks like the website filter is preventing me from posting the town where I live. It comes out like this " ****son,TN". I'm pretty sure I've posted this before without the edit. Has something changed? I know why it's doing this but there are some non-vulgar uses of that word.
The worst part about is that all of these crazy laws that are in CA slowly creap throughout the rest of the country. I live in TN and we are still fairly free but not as free as we once were.
Before I did anything I'd talk to a lawyer to see what your options are.
I have enough trouble getting trucks home from the continental US. Don't know what it would cost but it would be time consuming and pricey.
I did almost bid on a truck in Guam by mistake one time .
