As you can see.. 3. 1/4-20's on the floor, 3 self taps on the B-beam...
the newer closest does not have the cutout for the older seat belt, it's closed out. If you perform the seat belt MWO it move the lap belt forward.
They are either black or coyote brown...the only 2 colors I have seen anyway.
i sell them to the Jeep guys for off-roading....they just modify them to fit.
did you get the lower hinge mounts?
So if a quart of whatever ended up on the ground, did you not check Trans, PS, engine, Tcase fluid levels?
because a quart Of anything will register as being low...
the right side wall where the accel pedal is flexs, it's a thin aluminum panel, if it's real bad it's because the assy is loaded with NTC grit. The 2 plates sandwich a split bushing, no lube required...when new and minty, but over time, the bushing slots get wider and creates more play, so when...
did you open a claim for your "iron clad guarentee"?. I know folks who have used it, they have in fact had very good outcomes.
here is the problem as GP, they are a get it to run at all costs...running makes for higher opening bid, 7500.00 as compared to 5k. I am seeing cheap store bought...
I have asked on this forum before but never got an answer...GP was clueless as well.
but here in calif, Off road vehicles require a title and tags...or big ticket and fines.
so GP finally figured it out...the SF97 is "certificate to obtain title" nothing more, nothing less...title proves legal...
Yes, at certain sites, you need to call them first though to get the site managers schedule and make an appt, that's how I went about it here in calif.
am I missing something? Whats the "real damage?" A dent in the oil pan, dirt, surface rust? If I had a dime for every HMMWV that has a dent in the oil pan, I could retire. You clearly have not seen the trucks from the 99 auctions.
and here is something for any future buyers.....if it's Tan in...
It will fit on a regular car hauler trailer...but most are 6500lbs rated and the hmmwv is a bit over that.
i have a CH 60 big tex and have hauled many hmmwv's....imwould make sure your tires are aired up properly and good condition. It just squeezes on, air up the tires to 40-45 psi...unless...
Naa, most of the time folks list them as 10XX trucks and they are fact m998's converted via slantback kits....that's how my slantback is, it started life as an 87 m998, just has top armor.
I was pointing the more collectable side...a true M10XX truck fully restored is much rarer....either way...
Too bad it's an M998....it would have more value to the purest.
oh,if your wondering how I know it's an M998, it has no supplemental armor
plates on the rockers or qtr panel from what I see...you would see the large Phillips head protruding from the panel.
Probably cuz am gen doesn't want to deal with idiots ordering a 10.00 part....I don't blame them.
on top of that...its a military vehicle, not a Chevy, it wasn't made for the masses, it's a tactical vehicle. Do you think it was just as easy to call Am gen and order deuce and mutt parts?
The chinese deal fell through along time ago....The "Hummer" name had a sunset clause I was told...so GM had only a certain amount of time that they could use it, that was like 10yrs, well....Hummers are gone from production and the name didn't sell....
