The "Road Oiler" gets overdrive (700R4 Swap)

Holy cow! Looks like you drove the thing thru a burning Kuwaiti oil field. Clean all that up with brake clean before putting it back in (per Gimpy). My guess is a GL forklift. (Drive-shaft bent?)

Unanswered mystery questions about the M105 trailer....

Square holes - aliens Big round holes on back drop down for shipping the trailer itself same as front. Those are the new style. They are lifting points.

Rod Ventilated Block in Deuce -NOT- Crank Broke

Well I got a little done on the truck today. Bumper on with new grade 8 bolts. Exhaust and air filter done. Cleaned transmission per Gimpy's orders. Torqued the adapter plate to specs and put the clutch and the pressure plate on partially. Went looking for another bolt and hit my head on...

    Google Spell check

What those of us like that use Firefox or Chrome is that there is no toolbar or an add-on to get working, it is automatic.

    2600mile recovery :)

Sean I'm sorry you had to meet a narrow minded idiot in Bloomington. That's as much as we can say about it but yes, there are quite a few of them in the states. Please tell us which hotel so that I can avoid it when I travel to IL. Our daughter lives over that direction.

Heck, he's in Downs, IL, I thought he was going to keep going to your place tonight. I just texted him about 5 minutes ago. Call him, I just sent his number in a PM.

Question about an M820 Cummins engine

Ferro swears he runs his concoction in his 250 and it isn't 100% diesel. I would think that well filtered WMO would run okay in the 0-25% range.

Very funny. You know, he asked me about you. I told him about the first time meeting you a little past that very sign right after you deleted one of my posts.......

The "Road Oiler" gets overdrive (700R4 Swap)

Now what we need you to do is take the new transmission and drill a hole in the bottom. Thread the hole. Install a petcock in the newly thread hole. That way you will be able to adjust the road oiling flow rate in the future. It pays to think ahead.

    2600mile recovery :)

I finally met our long distance recovery member today. (Sean) Seems to be a nice guy although I'm not too sure about a 2,600 mile recovery but he did get a nice truck from John. We looked around it a couple of times. I did notice the fill cap was popped off something (no, I don't know what)...

Looks like a Snipe. Commonly hunted by Boy Scout Troops in this region.

    2600mile recovery :)

Well, if you drive around west of Columbus tonight and see a big green MV at a hotel that's probably him. :-)
