I'm texting with him now trying to locate a hotel around Columbus, OH. If he is going to stop I think it's better east than to fight Friday night rush hour with potholes the size of the 105 on I70.

He is zipping past Cambridge, OH now. I expect to meet up with him at the Bob Evans at around 5-7PM tonight off of I70.

My first batch of M105 trailers all came back from Kuwait and all were green. ;-)

Start with changing the filters and then making sure you have good fuel flow. While the IP will pull enough fuel you can still make sure the in-tank pump works correctly (open secondary filter bleeder and turn on power). That's where I would start.

While you could put a different transmission in the truck why not just buy a heavy duty crew cab 4x4 Ford or Dodge with a diesel? Saves work and time, unless you have both to throw at the problem. Easier to support while you are on the trips if you have a problem as well.
