    The one on the right came out of the 939 manual. The one on the left is out of the 809 manual and looks more like the older Deuce alt.

    New whistler turbo?

    A C turbo won't make any noise at all if it is not spinning. I started my truck last week and the turbo was as quiet as a D for about 5 minutes then it started whistling nicely. You could have a bad turbo. I only keep a C around to irritate Gimpy, he hates them. :-)

    I strongly suggest just towing it. How would you feel if your kludge failed and had an accident? You can get rebuild kits for them and even buy new wheel cylinders.
