The scenario you are describing has not been discussed here. My guess is that the alternator voltage regulator is failing, and your LED headlights have over overvoltage protection that is cutting them out.

The stock Leece Neville alternator is 12 volt with a POS "transformer-rectifier" attached to it that makes 15 amps of 24 volt juice. The basic alternator is a common item but the rectifier is getting hard to find.

You answered your own question. Figure out why you have a fueling issue. It could be air leaks on top of the fuel tank, bad fuel pump, plugged fuel filter. Verify no bubbles entering the injection pump by temporarily placing clear tygon hose between filter and injection pump. Worst case you...
