I saw that. Looks like uncle gave the idea thumbs down. Would be nice to reassemble a LVAD 5 ton, but a M1081 would have to be sacrificed to do so. Probably just good for parts?

Welcome to the forum. Any brakes that are dragging you will know it, as they will get stupid hot. If the rears are dragging, cage the 4 cans to eliminate the parking system. Also make sure your front emergency glad hand cover has a functioning vent.
I'm having a hard time IDing the engine from the harmonic balancer and water pump pulley. That poor truck looks to have sat for 20+ years. Expect it to need end to end exhaust, fuel system, torque rod ends, tires and brakes.
Sorry, the interaxle differential lock is either locked or it isn't, forward/reverse has nothing to do with it. Repeat the test I described in Drive and Reverse to verify for yourself.
