Yep. I was there last fall and Buddy was loading up the last of it. I bet you could still wander around in the woods and still find some good small items. Let me know about the new place if you find it.
Thanks wrecker, I'll give you a call in the morning. GL says it's at Redstone but who knows with GL.
I accually bid on the truck for my brother. He's trying to get his feet wet with MVs and I talked him into buying this truck. I just hope it turns out OK so he won't be turned off by the whole...
Did anybody look at the m1008s they sold at Redstone today? I was high bidder on #3906 (the one with the broken back window). I didn't get there to inspect so I was wondering how bad I got burnt? I do think I got it worth the money either way.
A wise old man told me one time ( only a 6th grade education by the way). " It's better to be silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt".
The sprag shift t-case is ok as long as it's working right but they're a pain to keep it adjusted and working right and the sprag is just something else to wear out. Every sprag case I've seen wasn't working right either from needing adjusting or just plain wore out. Unless you're going to...

Scooter, I keep telling myself the same thing but he keeps sucking me in :-?. Sometimes I just have to respond when someone pulls figures out of the air and claim it as fact. Someone that doesn't know any better may take it for the truth.
At work we have a big pan with a spout that will hold 11 gal. We've had it for years and I have no idea where it came from. To change the oil in the deuce at home I cut a plastic 55gal. drum off so it would fit under the deuce. Only problem is it's hard to pour out with no spout without making a...
All you need is a chainsaw if you're stuck with trees nearby. A 6" dia. oak will hold more than the winch can pull.
If you go with a 35,000# hyd. you're going to need a pump with atleast 25 GPM or it's going to be real slow. You're also going to need a oil cooler or a very big tank as it will...
A old wheel works better than a 4X4 (the cable is less apt to slip off) if you can hook low enough.
I've had good luck unsticking vehicles if you pull from the side a little instead of pulling straight away. Seems like it helps to release the suction of the mud.
ATC, electric winches work ok...
