Well the standard engine is the 3116/3126/C7 but the later “civilianized” trucks had Cummins 6.7 so any of those should work. But honestly you lost me at “I have a good choice of engines for cheap”😂

Are you certain you have a 12v flasher and not a 24v?

We had CUCV in our Air Force base at Florrennes BE in the mid 80s. I own one because of that. Would love to see Air Force markings from that group (485th TMW)

Yes. And it works quickly and efficiently-however it’s bulky and just doesn’t fit well in some places.

My last interaction was with Frank about the “oil line of death” on the 3116 engines. Even though he didn’t have one-he wanted to understand and share the details. I had a feeling the clock was winding down. RIP
