5 ton springs in a 1008? There is probably a good reason there appears to be no threads on it. Just my opinion but here is no where near enough weight on that truck to safely use those. Sell those and buy the right lift springs.

I just ordered 1/4" EPDM from Grainger. 50 ft section is just enough. You might find it cheaper but I doubt it. Very nice material.

I had to replace mine on my ME350A1. Rockauto it was inexpensive for a right-fit, not universal. HUGE difference! You can tell by the smell of the exhaust if its bad.

So since I have had the truck sitting around for so long, I have had time to dream. So far I have accumulated new axles (14 bolt w/Detroit Locker and D44 front- 4:10 gears) as well as just scoring a 4spd w/205 transfer case for CHEAP! Looks like I know what direction the truck will eventually...
