Yep. My dad owned the 7th house down the coast from the Garden City Pier. He had spent almost a year sprucing the place up - and then Hugo hit as a Cat4 or Cat5 and wiped everything from the pier down to house #24 - except his. The waves ripped out the floor in the back two rooms where he...

Welcome to the Outfit!
You have been bitten by the "green bug" Karl.
Loving every minute of it too!
Be sure to download the TM's (Technical Manuals) and the Lube Order for your Deuce. First in the list of TMs...

Would be nice to have that same comparison to Hurricane Hugo. That dumped a lot of water in the mountains and it was still a Cat1 storm when it made it to the city of Charlotte. It wreaked havoc around here with the utility grid. Power lines were down everywhere...

Sounds like a story that went around when the UAW was going on strike - way back when. Supposedly somebody on the assembly line put a coke bottle in the door of a truck with a note in it saying "bet you looked forever before you found this".

Congratulations on finding the fix!

Compression looks good enough. What about the plugs? Have you checked the "gap" on them? #1 looks (might be just the pic) like it has been dropped on the electrode. They all look a little "worse for the wear" in my opinion.

Perfect! I am downloading the files now. I will work them over and get them posted where they belong. It may take a little time over the weekend to size them for uploading... I will post credit to you for the upload. THANKS for finding them!

Well, Welcome to the Outfit!
Can't really tell from the pictures, but you may have a few issues to work out. Yep, get her cranked and go for a ride! There are a few "patches" there under the hood. It is a good looking truck though!
You may want to download the manuals - The TM's...

Depending on how long since it was sprayed, acetone might work. Lightly sanding with a fine grit paper will pull off the overpaint. It won't be perfect but you could read it for sure.
.
By the way, downloading the TMs (Technical Manuals) for your machine will be helpful.
