    It's alive!!!

. You may want to open the box and look at the "board" down in the bottom. It could be that a capacitor was "blown" off that board. Maybe. Maybe not, but definitely worth an investigative look...

    It's alive!!!

. So... About 12 hours later. Is the light still on? Even a "cap" would have drained itself by now. .

    CUCV Battery Recommendations

. Wow @cucvrus ... Good for you! Glad you made it back with us. I had a stroke about a year ago. Spent about a week in the hospital. RotoRooter an artery made it all better. Yeah, it is a mess. Again, really glad you are better!

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

. I'm guessing you have the back end support for the starter? I mean you've been at it for 14 years, so surely you have that installed?

    Hello from Minnesota

. Good Deal! Yessir, they are dry reading but they will help you a lot if you need info... Looks like somebody did a bypass on the glowplugs. That can be fixed or be just fine. Only need to push that button for maybe 10 seconds when you go to start her up. The wiring under the dash is a...

    Hello from Minnesota

. Welcome to the Outfit! Don't hesitate to download the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your "New To You" truck. Post us some more pics as well. Especially under the hood so we can help you solve problems if your factory wiring has been hacked up. https://steelsoldiers.com/forums/cucv-tms.114/...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

. That Lengo Bear is in pretty amazing shape - at least from the outside. Doesn't really look like it made more than a few rounds through the hospital...

    M35a2 electrical gremlin

. Sounds like your batteries need a charge. Once you get voltage enough - I am guessing the solenoid will engage and spin her over...

    Pair of 1968 M36a2

. Good Plan... Making the trip on a trailer will keep you from tearing up something that a little grease, a little brake fluid, and a little oil will keep from happening.

Looking for TM for Kalmar LCRTF

. Well, the upload area for TM's is at: https://steelsoldiers.com/forums/tm-upload-section.154/ Yes, we would be happy to have them. There is a limit of about 20mb for an upload. Don't hesitate to push them to the link above AND if that doesn't work, if you have a DropBox or other on-line...

First shakedown and I have a question about the fan clutch

. Yes Sir. Hot off the showroom floor. Leaks included!

First shakedown and I have a question about the fan clutch

. Yep. You need a raincoat inside the truck if it is raining. Other than that, spot a leak, fix a leak - rinse, lather, and repeat... And ram air isn't really gonna do it.

    Pic test

    . Looking Good!

    Hello from Kentucky

. Welcome to the Outfit! Don't hesitate to download the manuals (TMs) for your Mobile Power unit. Just a little reading will help a lot - especially if you have questions. Knowing what to call a particular part will make it easier on everybody. Uploading a few pics won't hurt a thing...

Just purchased a M1123 on Gov Planet - Reno NV area

. A pair of Group 24s should be just fine. Cleaning it will be a mess, but if you aren't removing paint you should be okay. Report back with any neat "finds"... .

    Replacement radiator?

. I can't swear to it, but one looks like pipe thread (tapered) and the other (not tapered, with an o-ring) screws in and bottoms out on the o-ring. Maybe it is just the picture, but that brass fitting does not have an o-ring. Right?

Newbie Alert! New LMTV in DFW

. Yes. One pump lowers the spare tire and raises the cab. Turn the knob on the manifold to engage which ever one you want to activate (raise of lower)

6.5 knock? Piston slap? Fuel Delivery issue?

. That timing mark being like that isn't a problem - most times. You can put a mark with a center punch so you can get back to where you were BEFORE YOU MOVE the pump. You can align it to "center" and see what happens. Also, have you looked at the Cold Advance yet like Gcelevator suggested...

    Hello from Oklahoma

. That is actually a "fording plug" that you would screw into the bottom of the bell housing. You may have a slight leak at your rear main seal - but honestly - it looks like an "old leak" rather than something new. Actually better off without it... No need for a plug there.
