The TM's I don't own I download and print out myself. I've also taken a "flashdrive" down to the local Kinko's and had them print some out on #28 weight paper. That is one of the heaviest weight papers for commercial use. It's makes for a most "excellent" manual ! No bleed through from pictures...
Well I have a few spare injectors, so I'm going to try this and see how it works. It would be a whole lot cheaper then the $180.00 I paid. Also I haven't seen the adapters for sell in a while. They might be out of stock now.
That's a good looking hitch. The only thing I would do is one: Bore out the mounting holes to 3/4" and use grade 8 bolts. Then add a couple of brackets to the back and mount it further in on the frame. My class 5 hitch ( 2.5" ) I bought was for a 1 ton Chevy and it had almost two feet long...
Have you actually tried this adapter ? If it does work correctly then it would be a whole lot cheaper then the factory one I paid for. Maybe I will make a spare adapter.
Agreed. Biodiesel will clean all that crap out of your tank. Just don't let it circulate through your fuel system. Take you fuel line off at the tank and reattach it to the return line. Then let your fuel pump run for a few hours or maybe days depending.
Afterwards drain out all the crud. I...
I would never take this lug nut tool on the road with me. It is very cheaply made ( I know as I bought one and took it apart ) and can easily break on you. It is not a tool to depend on. Now there are several torque-multiplier tools out there worth having. The first is the military one. It is a...
Are you saying you had "metal shavings" in the air-compressor ? Or the oil pan ? If you had shavings in the air-compressor then get a new one. Don't even mess with it. The connecting rods have no bushings or bearings. The rod rides on the crank journal. So if it has gone bad there is no way to...
Now I wouldn't say my Milwaukee (3/4" 18 volt impact-new design) is as strong as my air impacts, but it is strong. It cannot take off lug nuts that have been tightened with say a 1" impact though. I've tried and it's a "No-Go" . My 1" impacts can reach power levels of 2000 Ft of torque. No way...
I do actually. I own several 3/4" impacts from "Chicago Pneumatic" (the made in America one) and "Snap-On" to the new Harbor Freight "Earthquake" . I really cannot tell any difference in performance between them. The only difference I can find is weight. The newer Earthquake is lighter then all...
I remember that Cummins head gasket system very well ! It was a pain just to install them correctly the first time, let alone to have to do it again and again due to failures.
Your right about the engine and the amount of fuel and heat at a no load and loaded condition. If I had been thinking...
