    PNW Info Thread!

I'm sure they got it for free under that misguided program that allowed local law enforcement to get military grad armament. If I'm not allowed to have a MRAP then neither should local law enforcement. The 2nd amendment was pretty clear on our rights there. Just saying.

    Water in the cab?

That's how we always cleaned them in the Marines. They got extremely filthy at times. So we took them to the wash rack and let the water fly !

M135 transmision maybe destroyed from towing-First post

That would be great ! I'm talking with my machine shop right now about some parts. The problem is they are so extremely busy my projects always get set aside. One good thing though, they can make-up lip seals. I'm looking at getting a set made of "Viton" or maybe "Silicone". That should last a...

M135 transmision maybe destroyed from towing-First post

I know there are some who are taking offense at my earlier comments about parts availability. Well all it takes is a simple call to "Fatsco" and they will set you straight. The bushing kit "KH106A" is not complete. There are bushings that are no longer available from anywhere. The thrustwasher...

M135 transmision maybe destroyed from towing-First post

Personally when it comes to repowering my vehicle I don't care if it still is stock. I just want my truck to run and run reliably. The main problem with all these old vehicles is parts. There are only so many parts available. They haven't made any Hydra-Matics for over 56 years now. All the...

M35A2 with the LDT 465 injection pump issue

You could swap the parts. The problem is "finding" a "G" code pump. They are rare ! I still haven't found one and I've been looking for 4 years now.

Help me pick the last gauge for a warmed over Diesel!

I had totally forgotten about "line locks". I guess since the early ones had lots of problems. I still remember fixing plenty of old brake systems with them on. Now I'm sure they worked out all the little kinks in the systems. I'll take another look at them myself.

What did you do to your trailer today.

Here too ! To me, deer are nothing but long legged rats ! They destroy my fruit trees and garden. When I was at the check-out the other day, this woman said "aren't those deer just wonderful to have around" ! I said "Yes, they taste really good !" . Talk about getting the stink-eye ! You would...

    G749 preservation

It's been 21 years since my father passed away and I still miss him. I keep his memory alive by telling my family stories about him and all he accomplished and the lives he touched. I hold on to the hope of seeing him in the next life. Just remember this life is temporary. Soon the real...

    12 volt towing box

I see I never posted my wiring diagrams. They are a bit rough, but still readable I think. Maybe someone who is much better at making diagrams can "remake" mine. It would probably really help anyone who wants to recreate my design.

No legend, that is what they do ! Having had to replace them enough I know. Normally not a bad job. They come off pretty easy.
