Since no one else started the thread yet i figured i would jump in with the first photos. We had a great time and met with many members. Even had a tracked vehicle ride.
Driver seat will fit.
Batteries will fit.
Battery holders will fit.
Battery Cables will fit.
Power switch will fit.
Panel lights will fit.
Windshield hardware will fit, but not the actual windshields.
Light switch will fit.
Turn signal lever will fit.
Tail Lights and front lights will...
According to Jeff Davis the headache rack on the M817 bed would have to be modified to fit a M931. (especially if it has a hardtop on it) (since the cab on the M939 series is wider than the M808 series.)
I don't have a time frame yet. I am just asking to see if anyone is going to order one before I place my order. So far you are the first one interested.
Thanks, but if I had glued it it would have looked nicer. I just wanted to see how it would look when finished.... Pete did a great job on the design. Not available for resale or duplication.
I got the drawings back from Pete and verified the measurements using a full scale cardboard model. I also decided to make a 3D model out of it just for the heck of it. Here are pictures of the 3D model. The oval cutout holes for the safety chains were not adjusted to the new measurements...
OK I reread the first post. Although your sumerization was dead on. I can alway make the shelves cust to each customer's dimensions. As far as the gauge (thickness) 11 ga is overkill. For such a small area even 16 ga or lighter would work. (especially with the stiffener bends added)...
