DO NOT replace the diaphragms on the spring brake canisters! I only replaced the diaphragms on the Non-spring brakes since they are safe to work on. The spring tension in the spring brakes can release with EXPLOSIVE force and take your head off or cause severe injury! Just buy new assemblies...

Since the LA Rally is at the end of the week i decided it was time to spruce up the truck. The cargo cover still had the mud stains on it after I pressure washed it. I got my Repco paint cans out and painted over the black and brown spots. Outcome was better than i expected! See the pictures.

Went to Interstate Battery today. Picked up 4 Group 34 batteries for my truck. 10-1/4" L by 6-7/8" W by 7-3/4" H CCA 700 and CA 875. Almost identical output as the 6TL batteries. The tool box dimensions are: 25-1/2" L by 16" W by 13-1/2" H inside. So if you do the math here is what i come...

BTW those ECONO batteries are reconditioned. I think they are from Interstate Battery. Just bought 4 of them today for $45 each. I bought 4 of them over a year ago and they are nice batteries. (Reconditioned batteries are returned batteries where the dealer took them back without testing...

Depending on the amps you draw you can install a battery equalizer and tap off one 12 volt battery. Vanner make some nice battery equalizers. Look on a popular internet site for them. Easy to wire. 3 terminals on the equalizer. 12V, 24V, and ground.

I don't know how you are going to get it to work. The 5 ton frame is so high off the ground the Military had to lower the Pintle down to match the heights of their trailer. Unless you have one heck of an offset hitch to attach your ball height will be way too high. That is why we are trying to...
