    M35a2 vs m923

CDL = Commercial Drivers License. You notice the first word is COMMERCIAL. In LA (the state) if you are using the truck for personal use you do not need a CDL! :driver:

My M931 Recovery and Restoration thread...

This weekend I finally got a chance to installed the styrofoam blocking around the batteries. I have a hot wire cutter that I use in my shipping department to cut large blocks into custom size pieces for packing large heavy items. It's the cleanest way to cut styrofoam without the flaking mess...

My M931 Recovery and Restoration thread...

I got the seats over a week ago. They weigh more than i expected! 50 pounds each approximately. That makes my original plan unachievable as designed. 100 pounds is to heavy to lift to access the batteries! The solution is to design a way to easily remove the closest seat to the door before...

    Maybe I'll Keep It!?

I was going to say the same thing. They look like equipment tires. Same numbering system as my kubota tractor, just a different size. I don't think they are meant for highway speeds. Sorry for the bad news! Good news is you might be able to sell them at a profit.

m105 help needed on the road

Did you cross the hoses to connect to the glad hands? If you hooked them straight instead of crossing them you got them backwards! I did that on my M105 recovery and the brakes locked up. Left air hose goes to right side. Right air hose goes to left side. :driver:

    Wet Interior

As far as I know the only way to keep the inside dry is to put a large tarp over the entire cab! 2nd way is to park the truck inside a garage. I have never had any luck getting the side windows to fit properly. Usually had to adjust the angle of the front windshield frame by loosing the...

    M931 highway speeds?

With 11.00-20's i got 60 MPH @ 2200 rpm. I am sure the 14.00-20's will give at least 10% or more increase in speed. I will be doing the Super Singles as soon as my supplier had a good set in stock.

    Copper lines and painting

In picture #2 the bolted mount should have been mounted 90 degrees clockwise to avoid kinking the tubing in such a sharp and unnecessary bend! 2cents
