Since the reservoir was the flushing point of my cooling system clean out it got plenty of cleaning. I had the hose on full for quite a while! I appreciate the info. Every little bit helps.

Well I tried to repair the problem I had with my fan clutch not engaging. I took the Thermal Fan switch off and took it apart. Seemed like it lacked lubrication inside. I cleaned it and added DW40 to the parts and reassembled. After installing it back the fan now engages when it is hot...

You can always slip a thin rubber or plastic tubing over the wire from the opening in the steering wheel. You can put some wire lube in the tube to keep it from hanging up on the wire.

check the solenoid on the horn to see if it functions. On my M820 5 ton the ground triggers the horn so be careful or wear hearing protection! fat lady sings
