Those RED DOT A/C units are designed to reduce the ambient temperature in a vehicle from 125 degrees to around 80. So, in Louisiana, if the temps are approaching 100+ or so, that A/C will work just fine even with poor insulation.

They are cool trailers, but they sit up so high because of the 1100s! I almost bought one from Winslow a few years back because the trailer was too high for my uses. I wanted to use it like a tag-along lowboy.

The ones that SERMIS shows are from the M548 in case anyone else looks for them. They could be off of an M113, too...I have no idea, but I know those are the shackles that are on an M548.

There are various sizes. The ones that fit the M548, for example, are much smaller than those that fit on an M60. The ones on an M548 will fit a deuce, I believe.

Did you inspect it? Were all of the tools, machinery and accessories in the back? I could not look and therefore did not bid on it. I know there was another of these trucks up in PA recently...everything had been stripped out of the back.

Mike, these are rims for the 1400X20 that go on an M939 series truck. They are fairly big. I'd say that you will need a trailer. Plus, unless Chris has removed the tires, most still have rubber on them. They probably weigh in the range of 300 lbs. per tire/rim.
