    Anybody recognize this "Pickle" Forklift?

Put me down for an X-large also. And an address to send the money to. Rick

    Blasting Aluminum

The problem with chemicals is neutralizing them afterwards. You will never get it all and corrosion will soon follow. I would go with the walnut shells also. What you don't get could be lightly sanded and painted over. You will need ti lightly sand the whole thing anyway to make the paint stick...

    M43 Resurrection

Wait a minute here! I thoght the steering box was being done the same time as the starter. You mean you have been driving without power steering or just a semiworking and growling steering. I have one of those. That is NOT a fun job. Rick

    Exhaust selector/Diverter???

That would be a LOT more practical than the marine ones. Rick

    Exhaust selector/Diverter???

You can get electric ones for high performance boats. I have a set of air operated ones but I am hanging on to them. The marine stuff is rather pricey though! Rick

    151A1 jeep project

Maybe that is where I saw it. I correspond with so many people about the 151's that I lose track of individual projects pretty quickly. I think you were asking more for it were you not? I picked up a junker in North Jersey during a snowstorm and then I saw the price on yours was lower if I...

    151A1 jeep project

Frank, If I remember correctly you had that on the G838 and wasn't that an early straight 151? Rick

An Aussie 5-ton RV conversion 'Mad Max Winnebago'

Glancing around his site I saw his bio of sorts. Never finished school and never even drove past a university and yet he designed software and hardware for computers. Obviously a uniquely intelligent individual. That explains the attention to detail. My theory is who cares how it looks, it is...

1/14/12 - Breakfast in Eldersburg, Maryland

Put me in for the same spots I had last year, L/M 17 or 18? I have sent e-mails, phone calls several times and I have not heard back from the club so I better get from you unless they say something at your breakfast. I don't want to chance waiting until it opens up for general registration and...

    Hello from south French.

Hey guys, follow the two g838 links in his sig to see some amazing work. Keep in mind that this is all done in his backyard, outside up till just a couple of months ago. All metal bent by hand. He has inspired quite a few members on our pages. Rick

has anyone ever seen a diesel converted to propane?

I am guessing it is sent in by computer in the required amount and not by a throttle plate setup? That would give the engine vacuum. Diesel with vacuum.........interesting. Rick

    Hello from south French.

How are you Frederic, you see, you can't get away from me. You guys haven't seen anything yet, some of Frederic's work, well most of it, is absolutely amazing. He gives new meaning to "attention to detail". Rick

has anyone ever seen a diesel converted to propane?

I would like to see the injection process for propane in a diesel. Since gas is compressable, unlike diesel, then it has to be injected at fairly high line pressure. At least above 600 lbs. to overcome compression pressure. Injectors will have to mechanically opened. It will not need the...

has anyone ever seen a diesel converted to propane?

OK, Will got me thinking. How about a Google search? Guess what? It is a gas engine. False alarm everyone. Sorry. 100 KW | Cummins G12 | Gas Generator Set

has anyone ever seen a diesel converted to propane?

This is a G12 engine. So is it a high compression diesel or a LP gas low compression engine?

has anyone ever seen a diesel converted to propane?

The coils are wired into a harness that goes down to something at the bottom of the engine. It does not look like they are attached though. I enlarged it as much as I could and the connector looks like it is off to one side too much to be hooked up. You could time them to the flywheel and set it...
