    BOLO missing truck

Never ran across the name in any deals but will for sure remember it. I hope that money actually changes hands. Rick

    BOLO missing truck

He notified you that "he" had the money, problem is that you have heard that before. Do NOT give him the benefit of the doubt again and go through with the charges until you have the money in YOUR hands. You can always drop the charges if you feel inclined. In this case I would not feel inclined...

    Engine flywheel replacement - M1008

The flexplate is the automatic transmission version of the flywheel. It is much easier to just unbolt the transmission and move it straight back, replace the wheel and put the transmission back forward. If you have a lift and a trans jack it should take a couple of hours. Working on the ground...

    Srarting fluid issue?

Don't forget to check the fuel return line also, if it is pinched you will have those symptoms. Ether will break a crank in half in a hurry! That is on ANY 6.2/6.5, not just the military ones. Rick

My first army truck and it BIG

That is a very good point for you guys that like to wheel your trucks and twist them all to ****. You might want to take a good look at those rivets and also for any rust tracks where the frame pieces connect that might indicate movement. The rivets can be replaced with like sized grade 8 bolts...

My First M1009 Daily Driver - VA

Check the front axle u-joints out by the wheels. Popping from the transfer would be the chain and that is rare for these unless it has really been hammered on by the PO. Rick

    Chinese 6x6 Truck

I was thinking the same thing about the frame but I didn't see much of anything in the video. Of coarse it is empty, I am sure there would be some bending if it were loaded. Rick

My first army truck and it BIG

The yard manager told the Mexicans in the yard to cut the boxes off of the M820s. They butchered the M810 too. That is what I based my statement on. I know an American or two that have been out of work for over a year so yes I am a little cranky. I have friends who lost their jobs to Mexicans...

My first army truck and it BIG

You going to crush all 20 5 tons ? I guess I just don't understand since I am not one of these people that has the capital to buy these things 10 at a time. I can't even afford one at today's prices . Rick

My first army truck and it BIG

I am sorry and I am sure I will get flamed but I have no time for someone who will destroy perfectly good trucks to begin with let alone rare one's. Wonder how many of those Mexicans are legal? I would be more than happy to pay scrap price to get a decent truck. Everybody wants a quick buck...

    MEP-002A/M116A2 Recovery

I seriously doubt the pump would pull that far. It definitely would not be able to prime that much line and that much head.

You will find that Xylene is fantastic for cutting gunk in the fuel system. Xylene, parts cleaning brush, nitrile gloves and a pan of some sort and start scrubbing. Rick P.S. Do the cleaning outside, Xylene is very flammable and not at all good to breath.
