My lawyer friend who was in the Jaycees when my dad was in the Marine Corps Reserve - doing the Toys For Tots campaign - way back when offered me similar advise and council. He was a lawyer before lawyers advertised, so he was definitely was "old school".

Seems to be pretty fantastic to me! Yeah, the color is a bit ugly, but since it runs paint is a small thing. AND it does have history in that color... Chances are that you won't lose it in the woods painted in Arff Yellow.
Thanks for the update too!

Hella Made in Germany. Better than Made in China!
Removable key switch when it is turned off.
I have one on my M1088 and I would almost call it "bulletproof". No sizzle, No crackle. Just on and off.

Welcome to the Outfit! So, we have suggested pictures. I am there too. Picture us please!
TM's (Technical Manuals) have been suggested. Free Download. A little light reading if you have a sleepless night.
I suggest that you offer up a city and state in your profile.
That is a...

Your idea of cutting the pin into three pieces is the best plan.
Heat. It's not really going to work with propane. You don't get enough heat fast enough to swell the eye without swelling the pin at the same time. Having an acetylene torch with a rosebud tip will cause the "eye" to swell...

Yes Sir!!
Thanks @Tracer .
It takes a "100 Acre Field" to turn it, but at a little more than 2.5 times the speed of sound it runs off and leaves everything we have today in the dust.
Also found another neat pic - Operation Desert Shield

F-4 Phantom was indeed a gorgeous plane. An older guy that I know flew those in Vietnam. His comment was that it had a glide slope like a rock without power. His mental decision was that if the plane failed to respond to input, it was time to punch out...

@silverstate55 , The only thing wrong with all the useful information you offered is that OUR GOVERNMENT isn't smart enough to use it. I would be willing to bet you that there isn't a single congressman or senator that lives "off grid" and actually knows what it would take to live that way.
I...

Well... Since you own the truck, you might not be driving it through deep water. Funny how that works. When it belongs to somebody else, driving through water up to the doors isn't a big deal. When you own it, chances are that you will be a little more conservative.
A patch on the bottom...

How hard is the pull to the left or right? Is is possible that you have a really heavy spring on the accelerator peddle? Normally pushing that right peddle wouldn't make it happen - but that could be your pull to the left...

That is DEFINITELY a nice looking truck.
Funny how it works...
We have a (Insert Truck Name Here) and we almost drove the wheels off it.
Then, for whatever reason - or maybe even "life happens" and it goes away.
Always looking in the reard view mirror wishing you hadn't sold it...
A lot like...

Chances are that following the cut cables may be easier than it seems. Often times on these trucks, part of the DeMil process is just cutting cables that ran radios. Radios are gone. They don't spend a lot of effort to neatly clip and remove the excess wire. I suggest following the cut...

Yes Sir! And the hard part is that the popular idea of nuclear power is evil will never let the utility companies improve their ability to generate more electricity. Lake Mead measured at 1043.82 feet (in elevation) Thursday (6/23/2022) morning. That is 185 feet below "full pond".
So, we...

Here in the big city, plain regular gas.
Down two cents from yesterday.
What a DEAL - Right? Makes me want to zip right out and buy myself an electric car so I can save even more money?

Good Deal @Rhino 5/4 ! The little guys should have another great adventure! That really is cool that you guys get to have that fun.

Hey, bleeders "ain't pretty" but the one that I built years ago works really well! Nothing like being able to do it as a one man job too...
Picture below is...

Yes sir, mine is a runner. It came with a functional cab with doors that operate and windows that raise and lower. I was fortunate and it came out for a trip across the auction block more than a year ago. I was the second owner and the guy I got it from is a first class wrench turner. She...
