Increasing the air intake in a deuce

. Yeah, and back in our day - if you got caught doing something you shouldn't have - you might get the board of education treatment at school and another one when you got home!

    New member in ohio

. Well you've already been greeted by several of the guys and I am happy to hear that you joined our little group. Now that you are a member, you have access to the TM's when you need them. Happy hunting and remember that you don't have to buy the first one you find... The Green Disease runs...

MEP 803A smoke after oil change

. It is electric rather than a mechanical gauge. I would think maybe you have a faulty gauge or sending unit - OR maybe a bad ground possibly?

    Availability of TQG's

. Even automobiles don't like gas made with corn squeezins. Turns out with very little reading, using the corn that our government is turning into alcohol and then forcing it into fuel is not good stewardship of national resources either. (Off Soapbox)

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

. Remember - Out of sight, Out of mind. Even keyed, if your switch can be seen by the casual observer your cutoff is worth less than hidden (worth less not worthless!). Remember too that your switch needs to be high amperage to turn off those batteries. A normal car might have a 500 to 700...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

. Well then! Seems that @Crapgame resolved your question - and then you looked for yourself in the TM's for pictures... You are ahead of a lot of folks. Those crusty boring old books will solve a LOT of problems and answer a lot of questions too! I gotta say CONGRATULATIONS for getting the...

    FMTV Shock Absorbers

. Well, at least I discovered something today. My M1089 sounded like a teenager with his new sweetie this afternoon riding down the road. I thought maybe it was one of those "driver boxes" behind the seats. Climbed down and leaned back more than normal - and it screeked and scronked. Rounded...

Increasing the air intake in a deuce

. Nice writeup Richard. Lots of good and logical and well reasoned ideas there. Especially with Dodge creating "Active Air". Chances are that somebody saw it and happened to talk to just the right person - and the magic happened. Tim .

. Possibly the box like this? From the TM, TM 5-2420-224-24P-2 posted here on the site. PDF Page684, 0360 00 is the page number in the document. Chances are after re-reading what you asked, this might not be it - but if we can figure out what the box might be called - maybe it will be in...

MEP 802a - split phase connection

. Welcome to the Outfit! Download the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your MEP. Those crusty, boring books will help you a lot. They have oil and maintenance specs along with troubleshooting flow charts. The -24 is the parts book that may be useful too. And there is a book just for the power...
