Just have the driver drop it off and my place...
I would be happy to drive it off the trailer
In all honesty, the visuals out of the front isn't half bad. If you are backing it off the trailer you will be completely dependent on your hauler. Chances are he or she will be as...

So... I have a question. How $350? I found the lock pictured in this thread for $25 on ePay. Even without the padlock and adding shipping you should easily come in at well under a hundred bucks.
Did I miss something?
And this particular lock appears that it could be used on a M936 for...

It is hard to tell - but on this particular truck - do the tires stick out beyond the end of the frame? Where maybe if the tractor couldn't be pushed because a set of bumperettes would suggest that a driver could push something that shouldn't be pushed? OR maybe that these machines would...

Completely UNRELATED to a vehicle, but a matte finish on wood doesn't hold up nearly as well as a high gloss finish. The short version of WHY is that the matte is created with (as explained to me) lacquer thinner. Guessing there is an equivalent in water based paint.
It will suck a lot...

Well, it is green...
It is a MV...
Not so much a vehicle as equipment...
Maybe we call it ME?

They have good paint and the rattle cans have done an amazing job for me.
I have done several touch-ups on my M1089 and M1088 and they are 5 years apart. After a few rains and a little sunshine you can't really pick out the "factory carc" from the RAPCO rattle can repairs that I have done.

Well, about all I have to offer is to chime in here with a warm Welcome to the Outfit! There are a lot of threads here with information - anywhere from oil it up and go - to complete frame up restorations.
I hope you find what you want. Don't be too concerned about buying from an...
What If...
The MK23 7-Ton trucks have selectable lockers in them. The Marines have made it a point over the last 40 years or so to have lockers in most vehicles that they have. The 5-Tons for sure and the 7-Ton is that way too. The MK23 has a selection on the dash to turn on the lockers...

I have installed the winch. That was relatively easy and to be honest, I grumbled more about having to go get the bolts than anything on that part of the project. I have a forklift, so lifting it in place wasn't bad at all. No huck bolts involved on my particular M1088.
Removing the...

Be really careful with adding (padding) zeros on any kind of title work. What happens is that the insurance company doesn't pad the serial - and then you find yourself UNINSURED.
Several folks here have gotten notices from the DMV claiming folks didn't have insurance. It gets ugly in a hurry...

EDIT: The CUCV diesel uses a vacuum pump so the suggestion below doesn't work. Thanks reloader64 Vacuum leaks are easier to find than you might think. OR maybe I should say that figuring out where on the motor you should search a little harder. Starting fluid in a spray can... Short...

Find that leak. In a perfect world, you should still have air the next day.
You always want to stay on top of fixing any air leaks.
There might be a plug under the right side of the dash to connect an air hose to. The connector might be "tired".
A spray bottle with dish soap and water...

Well stated Guy!
Pictures and TM Diagrams are definitely your friend if you haven't done the job before. Even if you have, a few minutes leafing through the books will refresh what we know...
