Thanks, Yea it sits a lot right at the end of my carport. Been awhile maybe two years since I have taken it to the show in Mt. Dora FL. I was not planning on taking it to Denton NC. show but looks like I need it to carry all the goodies people want. Guess it will be cheaper than a hotel room...
Just in case I bring the trailer to Denton next month bleach and wash. They say moss does not grow on a rolling stone but they forgot to add it does not grow on a moving trailer. Well it looks good enough for me to show it. Guess I better wash the 915 too.
Guess it does make things easer but how will it fair when off road. Seen someone put one on a Deuce and with the bottom two drains on the Deuce and going off road a good size stick or a rock could knock it off. Looks like at least on your truck the drain plugs are on the side of the pan and a...
I am trying to understand and looking through the repair manual on the carb. If it is vacuum operated does not the vacuum drop off when the throttle opens up? So does the vacuum keep the plunger pulled back and the spring pushes it down when we loose vacuum? I have not had one apart and just as...
Last one of 939 series muffler spoken for. Nos 809 series PCB $50.00. NOS 809 series new china master cylinder $50.00. 5 ton and Deuce snatch blocks $100.00 a piece for 5 ton. $75.00 Deuce. Last one NOS spring seat base top. $80.00. Still have some NOS Deuce or 5 ton battery boxes $80.00. Still...
Do not know if my problem is the same. My push button just started to acting up. Power off I sprayed the heck into the button electrical contact cleaner and pushed it 10 times. So far so good.
Do you have a rebuilt or new air dryer? Sounds more like the air dryer is not doing it's job. I got a NOS from Will here on the board and it was cheaper than a rebuild kit for the old one.
It is a safety thing if you were to have a load or even empty and the trailer broke loose the Parking brakes would come on and hopefully stop the trailer before it did something bad. Your just going to pick it up and get it home and figure out if all is good on the trailer. As said myself I...
Looks like the brakes are caged and might just be so they can move it around there yard. Myself I might remove the caging bolts and see if the parking brakes will hold air and release using the truck. If one or the other is leaking just put the caging bolt back in. Nice trailer and nice score.
I know your mother might have said not to play with it. For now your truck does not have a PTO winch so other than not pushing pushing in the clutch to engage the PTO for the dump bed play with it. Now that is after you read the TM's I should add to cover my donkey.
Yep there is the little bugger. FDC bad bug on the arrow and the cross is the tin cover you will remove and throw away. Put the two little bolts back . That will give you access to the main fuel control we talked about.
Yea not looking to change what I have now and selling my Deuce. Sounds like you have enough pressure and flow to the booster and that is all that matters it would seem. One micron is getting pretty tight. My Cat filter on my LMM Duramax is only a push through fuel filter and 2 micron and I am...
Frank have you ever checked your running pressures? I was just wondering if that filter right after the in tank pump could cause restriction. The Deuce at one time if I remember just had the primary screen cleanable filter and I would think it was not even close to 10 microns. I believe it was a...
Forgot what I had for dinner last night so I also do not remember the pic of your IP. Pulling deep for the memory or maybe the waist basket yours did not have an FDC. I need coffee right now as it is 4:30 am and I need to see a pic of IP again.
Myself a gage with a bleed between the secondary and final that scales up to 100 psi can be a good thing. As said above 30 min idle and 60 psi min. high idle. As for a gage at the tank to measure up to 10 psi at the tank is an ok Idea. Myself if I turn on the master I check to see if the bleed...
