Tires are for sure an issue. The only 16.5" new name-brand tire available that I can find is the Firestone Transforce HT. The HMMWV Wrangler 36" MTs are too old.
My biggest fear with dropping big coin on a fbcb2 and having it be a boat anchor. Let us know if you make any progress. Maybe reseat any plug-in components?
Probably has to do with the M-Gator not being a commercial item and them not having proper access to the parts data. I am not real familiar with John Deere parts support because all my JD equipment NEVER BREAKS DOWN!!!!
Great to hear from you Hardmission. Your "utility box" truck could be a M724 Contact Maintenance or a M726 Telephone Maintenance. The contact truck has a taller enclosed body and a Hobart welder. Both of these are desireable to the right person. The contact truck is a bit heavy for daily...

Welcome Rich. So far you are doing great. About your winch, I would make a post in the "CUCV hot rodding and modification" forum and ask for input on the 4 winches you are considering and the method of mounting. You might also search "CUCV winch" which will give you some ideas about what...
The fan makes a very loud air rushing/roaring sound when engaged.
I guess you now know that when something mechanical makes "horrible vibration sound" it's best to turn it off and investigate. That is a machine's way of crying for help from it's master.
