My first one, the drums were rusted to the brake shoes.
Once off, was able to turn drums and save them.
Second trailer was just light rust and also had them turned...

Once in your possession, did you pull drums and check drums and bearings, etc?
Brake fluid reservoir empty and rusted? Fluid color if full?
Military is famous for not maintaining these and rusted drums, bad bearings, etc., are very common...
Has the surplus supply of these dried up?

If your M101A2/3 is loaded and you try to back up a steep driveway, the brakes will activate, if they are working properly.

Removed radiator and took to shop.

The larger the alternator pulley size, the slower it turns.
I assume you went with a modern alternator instead of the original design.
They have to turn a certain minimum rpm to charge. That's the way I understand it anyway.
