Im just looking to go back to original style.
No fancy sound liner or anything spray in.
Just wanting to know which brand has held up best. I don't want cheap and then have to replace it a year or two down the road.
They all will "look" good when new. It's how they hold up to daily...

Put your truck in low gear (lever next to parking brake) and it will act same way. Forward and reverse.

I wouldn't repair it until a new modern alternator is installed.
Bought a brand new (not reman) Delco 33si 100 amp unit from SS member here. 74M35A2 I believe.
