Well, welcome to the outfit. Looks like you have been pushing messages. Join in the fun with some pictures when you can - and maybe we can help you locate the parts you are missing. Snap some pictures of those relays and fuses on the right side of the truck. Need to clean that board and...

Yes Sir, Ajax MD !
Everything on that boat has "Pedigree Papers" for everything on it or in it. A guy who retired after 30 years came to work for us in the printshop and was a Master Chief on a repair vessel. Hate to say I can't remember the name of that ship, but they had a really NICE...

I agree with frank8003
Driving it for sure should be a requirement. I would crawl around under the truck and look. Searching for "disturbed dirt" on drive shafts and linkages may mean that something recently was repaired. That makes a good conversation starter. The less that has been done...

Hi there.
The thread above is from 2007, so you might not get a lot of response.
The REB retrofit compared to the air shift sprag is a difference of about 35 or 40 years.

Thanks Jeepsinker !
That was definitely what I was trying to say :)
ldmack3 - please be sure to read the post just above this one.
Very similar to what was asked earlier - but Post #5 has a much better explanation.

Agreed @98G
My opinion is that if you are standing in court where the towed vehicle "got away" and killed someone - having a certified card carrying welder that "glued" that metal together will be important.

Fuse looks good, but they are fairly cheap at the local parts house.
Amperage is on the metal end. Maybe get yourself two?
Got a test light? Tried to see if there either end of that fuse holder turns on the test light?
Be careful though... One end (brass piece) should either be hot always...
Oh, but they would get their revenge (best served cold). I went down the road from Charlotte to Albemarle to repair a truck. Offloaded the tools and parts onto a Deuce from the service truck. Three of us sitting in a cab with no doors. Meandering slowly down the side of a big hill... Off to...

Good Deal. I was hopeful.
That would have made for a really bad day!
Those vents are neat. They look a lot like what is on the cab of the 929 Series trucks down near your feet. (Rotated 90°) You haven't had any fun until you have a bunch of jack-booted linemen climb in and out of the...

The springs have a pin that sticks out of the "bottom of the stack".
Not sure what the real name for it is.
Guys at the spring shop call it the "Indexing Pin".
Both of them should have that pin.
The shackles that support your springs are both the same? (look the same)

I am just...

Your very last picture - in your left hand doesn't appear to be blown. Best I can tell, that looks like a 20 or 25 amp judging by the thickness of the metal inside the glass. Looks like that fuse has been in there for a while too. Is there anything growing (white) in the brass connections?
.
I was definitely going to suggest a call to Washington (Not the General - the city - not the State.
Does anyone have the SS Vote MVOTV By Mail forms ?
.
Well, I can go by and pick them up for you Guy.
I will hold the crates here until your next trip to Charlotte.
Don't let the distance hold you back on your bid!
Thinking we can condense the Prop Wash and Sailboat Fuel into one package.
Since it goes by weight, that might even be deliverable...
