Go cheap to test that ground theory...
Get your jumper cables out of the back of your truck - and scratch them into the frame on one end and to the battery on the other.
If that doesn't work, try the same onto the bracket for the alternator and to the battery. Just trying to give your...

On a concrete (or brick in the propaganda sheet) I could see that working, Total of about an hour from "connect to raise" and then lower and disconnect. Rated at 78,000#, we know it would lift the box for sure. Those are pretty amazing pieces of equipment!
.
Best part would be that all his customers saw his truck in the distance - and knew who it was - and were most likely happy to see him coming.
These days people would get all excited and call that "Targeted Marketing".

Ha! I mis-read the Chattanooga as the end result. Still going to be hot here too, but maybe a little cooler sometimes. We have humidity in spades though!
I found a quonset hut style building that has some really deep grooves that create a self supporting building. They look pretty...

I really like ALL of those ideas. The quonset hut idea looks really neat. There are even cloth versions of that setup. Moving to Florida - I would think you might really need to have a closed in version if "a big blow" shows up in your neighborhood...
That is one heck of a workshop (several)

Very much like the other comments...
As close as you are to an outside wall, I would go straight out the wall behind the MEP. Use a section of double insulated stove pipe first, then insert the exhaust pipe into the double insulated stove pipe to protect the wall. Use lots of steel wool to...

Maybe your Army Veteran friend and neighbor gave you a bill of sale several years ago?
You know with the serial number on it and a date? Hand written and signed.
You may need to go for a ride to the next county and start fresh rather than dealing with
the person who already told you no...

Donaldson used to be the best there was.
Maybe getting involved with providing military parts at 10x the price rubbed off on them too.
I walked out and gave mine a quick look on my M-936 and it looks fine. Donaldson's name is on it somewhat proudly and the bracketry is securely attached to...

Well it is a good thing that I went back to the beginning of the this thread... I was ready to "give you guff" and call you out. I would have said something about the HEMTT cab being the smarter way to build that truck (Bla Bla bla blaaa).
Having scratch built that cab makes what you...

They are definitely "the stuff".
I use mine on the M1089 a good bit and it is almost like having a third hand.
Having anything to do the heavy lifting while I pull levers is a good thing!
.
Dang Nice to hear that you won and pushed the Department Of Crooks and Thieves back into their hole!
Even though it seems that they were still dragging their feet. Eight months to get a title!? Really!!
.
Guess I must be odd. I don't do much mashing.
Diesel fuel or Gas seems to stop whatever they are doing.
Never knew that ants had a smell. (Live and Learn!) :)

Exactly as it should be... Just like the Dextron II to Dextron III and so on.
Thinking about it, I haven't heard about that problem in transmissions.
.
I had done some more reading after our thread here ran its course.
Like so many things, there are two camps. One who claims if you aren't running DOT 5 the world will end. The other is the DOT 3 camp who thinks everybody is stupid who didn't stay with what the owners manual says. As I...

Not a lot of folks have His and Hers matching HMMWV's.
(That was an attempt at blue and pink)
Pretty country out there. Seems that the leaves are already changing too...
.
The difficult thing about these low mileage trucks is that they get used. There is a motor-pool sergeant that will not hesitate to stick his boot in your asprin. But the way it works is that the replacement trucks are not generally all replaced at one time. Arbitrarily, ten trucks are...
